Control Box

This control box is the brains behind the Illuminator Backup Lighting System. It includes the battery, battery charger and all the control functions.

In addition to the Control Box, you need to buy the Illuminator LED lights, Remote Control(s), Wire. You can also opt. to buy the Modem if you wish to communicate and control the system via Cell Phone.

Control Box Features:

• Integrated 18AH Maintenance Free Battery (3 yr life span) with highly efficient battery charger to reduce power consumption during charging
• Clearly visible status indication through the use of 2 10mm LED’s
• Real-time-clock added to prevent system to switch on during power failures in day time to prevent battery discharge during daytime. NB: Lights also have motion sensors to ensure they turn on / off only if needed
• Reset switch added to bypass RTC feature if lights are required during daytime
• One block connector strip for indoor lights. These lights will turn on automatically in a power failure (unless during the day), when turned on manually with reset button or when turned on via modem with cell phone (modem feature is optional)
• Second block connector strip for outdoor lights. These lights will turn on every night at 6pm and off each morning at 6am regardless of power failures
