As a Deep Cycle this battery is built to allow for discharge to a depth of 80%. High Cycle batteries are not suitable for this type of deep cycling and are generally built to discharge to depths of 20%. If you anticipate using more than 20% of your batterys capcity on a regular basis, then you must opt for the Deep Cycle. Using a High Cycle in a cyclic application would lead to premature aging and subsequent replacement of the battery.
